Jachthaven Naarden is located on Lake Gooimer, a popular sailing basin for its ideal position between the provinces of Flevoland and Noord-Holland, renowned for their chain of lakes. With 1120 premium berths, Naarden is one of the largest marinas in the Netherlands. These floating homes nestled in the heart of the port offer an exceptional location in the heart of Jachthaven Naarden for a unique experience. Each havenlodge is equipped with modern, functional facilities. They give you access to all the marina’s facilities and amenities. They can accommodate between 5 and 6 travelers, depending on the house selected, and offer rooms with double beds or bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals just like at home, with a view to boot!
The oldest ship in the Netherlands! De Zwerver was built in 1900 at the De Vlijt shipyard in Oude Wetering. Artist, architect and explorer Wijnand Otto Jan Nieuwenkamp designed it as a barge, but also used it as a studio and mobile exhibition space. The vessel has been fully restored and now serves as a fully equipped accommodation facility.
Halfway between camping and vacation homes, these beautifully furnished backpacker cabins are ideal if you don’t want to or can’t sleep on your own boat. The sturdy log cabins are painted in the famous “Naarden white” and feature functional furniture and comfortable beds inside (for up to 5 people). Jachthaven Naarden offers a variety of dining establishments for every moment of the day. PorterHouse is open 7 days a week from 11am for lunch, dinner or a drink on the sunny terrace. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast or a quick snack at Dock Franse. Fancy a shopping spree or need to stock up? You can visit the mini-supermarket in the Scheepsdief watersports store.
On the waterfront, PorterHouse Naarden offers you an exceptional double view of the harbour. A water playground with safe swimming area is available for your children!
Dock Janssen offers fresh, full breakfasts. Afternoon snacks include sandwiches, spit-roasted chicken and Nick’s specialty: satay and hamburger on the grill.
Jachthaven Naarden is located directly on the Gooimeer and offers a good connection to other sailing areas such as the IJmeer, Markermeer and IJsselmeer, but also especially The Randmeren. What makes this area so unique is the nature, tranquility and space.
Ideally situated on the Gooimer lake, Jachthaven Naarden offers you a prime location to explore the eighty thousand hectares of water that make up the large lakes bordering the former Zuiderzee.
